# Source Map
Use primary sources first.
## Komodo
- `https://komodostation.com/wp-json/`
- `https://komodostation.com/wp-json/wp/v2/sections`
- `https://komodostation.com/wp-json/wp/v2/media`
Known product IDs from the seeded baseline:
- `Steam Controller JPY`: `413763`
- `Steam Machine JPY`: `413772`
- `Steam Frame JPY`: `413776`
Known section IDs from `2026-04-24` controller rollout:
- `433306` banner
- `433326` people video
- `433356` features
- `433376` video
- `433416` buttons
- `433434` custom
- `433470` features
- `433484` spec image
## SteamKit / PICS
Treat SteamKit/PICS as the primary direct Steam metadata source for watched app/package movement.
References:
- SteamKit source: `https://github.com/SteamRE/SteamKit`
- SteamKit2 NuGet: `https://www.nuget.org/packages/SteamKit2`
- relevant SteamKit concept: `SteamApps.PICSGetProductInfo`
Primary targets:
- `Steam Controller app`: `4165870`
- `Steam Machine app`: `4165910`
- `Steam Frame app`: `4165890`
- `Steam Controller package`: `1558609`
- `Steam Machine packages`: `1629446`, `1629447`, `1629458`, `1629460`
- `Steam Frame packages`: `1629484`, `1629486`
For each normal run, a SteamKit/PICS helper should snapshot:
- app product-info payloads
- package product-info payloads
- changenumbers
- depot and branch metadata exposed in app product info, when present
- raw JSON or normalized structured output suitable for diffing against the previous run
Local helper:
- `scripts/check_steamkit_pics.sh`
- raw snapshot: `RUN_DIR/api/steamkit/pics-product-info.json`
- normalized package/app report: `RUN_DIR/reports/steamkit-pics-packages.tsv`
- summary lines: `RUN_DIR/reports/steamkit-pics-key-lines.txt`
- human-readable detail report: `RUN_DIR/reports/steamkit-pics-detail.md`
Operational constraints:
- use a separate Steam account, not the user's main account
- keep polling narrow and conservative
- do not download protected depot content
- treat SteamKit/PICS metadata movement as the earliest app/package update signal
- use Valve Store APIs below to confirm public price, package groups, purchase/reservation state, and exact timing
## SteamDB
- `Steam Controller app`: `https://steamdb.info/app/4165870/`
- `Steam Machine app`: `https://steamdb.info/app/4165910/`
- `Steam Frame app`: `https://steamdb.info/app/4165890/`
- `Steam Controller history`: `https://steamdb.info/app/4165870/history/`
- `Unboxing video app`: `https://steamdb.info/app/4653940/`
- `Unboxing video package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1620489/`
Reservation/package IDs seen in SteamTracking reservation-system code and SteamDB:
- `Steam Controller`: `1558609` (public purchase package baseline)
- `Steam Machine`: `1629446`, `1629447`, `1629458`, `1629460`
- `Steam Frame`: `1629484`, `1629486`
SteamDB page check: for each package ID, check the SteamDB package page and record:
- `Last Record Update`
- `Last Changenumber`
- possible app association or inferred app association
- whether SteamDB still has no package information beyond existence
Use SteamDB package pages as corroborating/human-readable views of package movement. Do not make SteamDB HTML scraping the primary source when SteamKit/PICS snapshots are available.
SteamDB package pages:
- `Steam Controller package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1558609/`
- `Steam Machine package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1629446/`
- `Steam Machine package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1629447/`
- `Steam Machine package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1629458/`
- `Steam Machine package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1629460/`
- `Steam Frame package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1629484/`
- `Steam Frame package`: `https://steamdb.info/sub/1629486/`
Corroborating Valve Store APIs:
- `https://store.steampowered.com/api/packagedetails?packageids=<packageid>&cc=us&l=english`
Known baseline: the Machine and Frame package IDs may exist on SteamDB while `packagedetails` still returns `success:false`. Treat that as private-package existence, not public launch readiness.
SteamTracking origin baseline:
- package IDs first appear in SteamTracking bundle snapshots at commit `334bd31a28a0` (`2026-04-28T23:46:34Z`)
- parent commit `4a2195407fde` does not contain the IDs
- later commit `cb7ae45d7bb1` (`2026-05-07T20:10:35Z`) changes reservation behavior but is not first package-ID exposure

## Valve Endpoints

## Customs / Regulatory
Run ImportInfo customs checks every normal watch run because they are quick and high-signal. Use customs data as corroborating evidence, not as primary proof.

Do not elevate these above direct Komodo, SteamDB, or Valve evidence when those primary sources disagree.
