# Run Note: 2026-07-20
## Summary
- Ran `scripts/run_frame_watch.sh 2026-07-20 runs /tmp/SteamTracking-shallow-20260720`.
- Same-day refresh at `2026-07-20T16:16Z` kept the same material conclusion.
- Bottom line: no new Steam Frame launch-readiness movement since the July 16/17 backend package change.
- Valve public endpoints still show Frame app `4165890` as `Coming soon`, with no packages/package group/price, and both Frame packages still return `packagedetails success:false`.
- SteamKit/PICS and SteamDB both show the Frame package IDs unchanged from the July 17 baseline.
- Supporting background: `steam_client_beta_linuxarm64` moved to `1784323984`, but the hardware-specific ARM64 block and normalized hardware signals did not move.
## Source Checks
### Komodo
- Unblocked for this run.
- Frame product `modified` remains `2026-07-03T15:56:30`.
- Frame sections remain one old `JA - Steam Frame Wishlist` row.
- Frame media remains old `Frame_BG.png`.
- Machine product timestamp moved from `2026-07-17T18:23:59` to `2026-07-20T14:27:32`; Frame did not move.
- Visual asset counts: `453` discovered, `409` retrieved, `44` blocked.
### SteamDB
- Watched reservation-package table was captured.
- Controller app/history pages were challenge-blocked on this refresh, but the watched package table still captured the Frame package rows needed for the launch-readiness check.
- Frame package `1629484`: last record update `16 July 2026 - 03:50:58 UTC`, changenumber `37298233`, still `private_exists_only`.
- Frame package `1629486`: last record update `16 July 2026 - 03:50:44 UTC`, changenumber `37298229`, still `private_exists_only`.
- No new SteamDB package-history movement versus `2026-07-17`.
### SteamTracking / GameTracking
- SteamTracking source checkout is `7fed97457fb2ad2eee35401ea775e962acc56e59` (`2026-07-18T20:04:59Z`), `updated=no` during this run.
- Normalized hardware-signal comparison versus `2026-07-17` showed `0` semantic additions and `0` removals.
- `steam_client_beta_linuxarm64` moved from `1783475136` to `1784323984`.
- `steam_client_publicbeta_linuxarm64` stayed at `1784145295`.
- `bins_hardware_linuxarm64` did not change in beta or publicbeta.
### SteamVR Depots
- SteamDB SteamVR depot metadata page was challenge-blocked.
- Public changelog/local-scan outputs produced no new Frame signal.
### SteamOS Package Mirror
- No material Frame launch signal found.
### Valve Support / CDN
- Frame app `4165890`: public metadata only, `Coming soon`, no packages, no package group, no price.
- Frame packages `1629484` and `1629486`: still private, `packagedetails success:false`.
- SteamKit/PICS showed no follow-up backend movement for the Frame package IDs.
### Customs / Regulatory
- Latest captured relevant shipment rows are still the `2026-07-15` `VIRTUAL REALITY DEVICES` rows and the `2026-07-14` `WIRELESS PC CONTROLLER` row already recorded on the July 17 run.
- Some ImportInfo source searches failed, so customs status is partial. ImportGenius rows were still captured.
## Effect On Key Questions
- Price: unchanged. Steam Frame still has no public price.
- Release date: unchanged. Steam Frame still exposes only `Coming soon`.
- Same-time launch: unchanged and already ruled out. This run does not add evidence that Frame launch/reservation is live.
## Next Checks
- Re-run Valve appdetails/packagedetails and SteamKit/PICS first on the next pass.
- Watch whether Frame packages `1629484` / `1629486` move from `private_exists_only` / `packagedetails success:false` to visible package details.
- Keep watching Komodo Frame for a fresh timestamp, new sections, or new media.
- Treat `steam_client_beta_linuxarm64` movement as background unless paired with hardware block changes or new Frame strings.
