PatchDL 0.0.5: Home-screen tile and live download banner Stable

DieMitchell released this 2026-10-05 21:26:12 +02:00 | 11 commits to main since this release

    PatchDL 0.0.5

    Highlights

    • Home-screen tile. Switch on Home-screen shortcut in Settings and PatchDL appears on the PS5 home screen. Tap it to open the UI in the console's browser.
    • Live download banner. The current game, its speed, time left and its place in the queue, at the top of the Games view.
    • Downloads run to the end again. 0.0.4 stopped large updates after 70 to 130 MB. Fixed.
    • Updating shows the queue. The game that's downloading stays under Updatable, so you keep it in sight.

    Also new

    • The sidebar shows the version that's running.
    • PatchDL now records the network error behind a failed download, which makes trouble easier to track down.
