PS5 Upload lists ShadowMount+ (/mnt/shadowmnt) and its own image mounts as
registered apps with a src folder, so PSGFX took them for homebrew and tried
to upload art into the image's sce_sys, which is read-only or nearly full
(preflight_insufficient_space). Those now use the installed-game path
(appmeta + app.db), including on the server side if the UI sends homebrew.

Installed games: the home screen draws tiles from the icon0Info/pic0Info
paths in app.db, which for many games point inside the read-only game
package, so replacing files in /user/appmeta changed nothing or was refused.
PSGFX now writes the image to /user/appmeta/<id>/psgfx_* and points the
database at it (backup first, originals kept for Restore). Games whose art
really lives in appmeta keep the in-place replace.
Art view: a name field renames the tile through the same app.db edit Home
layout uses; homebrew param.json is updated too so re-registering keeps it.
