PS4 builds
Two PS4 packages are provided:
ps4packagelink_en.pkg— Englishps4packagelink_pl.pkg— Polish
Both variants use the same application identity, so installing one language version replaces the other.
The Polish build has been tested on hardware.
The English build uses the same package configuration but has not been separately hardware-tested.The latest remote queue and batch download changes still require full end-to-end verification on PS4 hardware.
Installation
- Download the preferred PS4
.pkg. - Install it using the Package Installer on a compatible homebrew-enabled PS4.
- Extract the Windows PC Companion archive and launch
run.bat. - Connect the PC and PS4 to the same local network.
- Configure and save the PC IP address in PS4 Package Link.
- Add packages to the PC library and select Install on PS4.
Keep the PC Companion running while the PS4 downloads packages hosted by it.
PS4 Package Link must be running and able to communicate with the PC to receive new installation commands. The PC cannot launch a closed or suspended PS4 application.
Batch URL downloads
- Open the Link lists tab in the PC Companion.
- Paste links or open a TXT file containing one URL per line.
- Select Check HTTP to verify availability and basic PKG headers.
- Choose sequential or parallel downloads.
- Optionally enable automatic queuing for PS4 installation.
- Select Download ready.
Files are downloaded to the PC library first. When automatic queuing is enabled, successfully downloaded and validated packages are added to the PS4 installation queue.
HTTP checks confirm availability and basic file structure; they do not guarantee that a package is compatible with your console.
Archive import
- RAR, 7z and multipart archive extraction requires 7-Zip on the PC.
- ZIP archives can be handled directly.
- For multipart RAR archives, keep all parts in the same folder and select
part1.rar. - Base Game, Update and DLC PKGs are kept as separate packages.
- Explicit split files such as
game.pkg.0,game.pkg.1, etc. can be reassembled during import. - Archives are extracted temporarily on the library drive. Ensure sufficient free space for the extracted contents.
- Password-protected archives should be extracted manually before adding their PKG files.
Known limitations
- Connecting to the PC while a game is running in the background may intermittently cause CE-34878-0. This issue remains under investigation.
- System background downloads do not guarantee that the Package Link application itself will continue receiving commands while suspended.
- Close the PS4 application through the PlayStation system menu.
