While most applications will just create ALL_ACCESS handles which
support the additional operations FEX needs over the regular windows syscall
(usually just QUERY_INFORMATION to lookup the thread object), it is
valid for them to pass in the minimal set required for each operation
and windows/wine will reject any other operations (e.g. querying the TEB
base on a handle with only the SUSPEND right). Windows permits
duplicating handles to extend their permissions given the process itself
has such permissions, so do that as necessary for the operations FEX
needs.
In the terminate case, if we don't return early then we will delete the
FEX thread object but the actual terminate call that follows will
fail, leaving the thread in a bad state.
As section permissions are set on the unix side we don't get a
protection callback for them, workaround this by iterating over
the sections of all executables after mapping and tracking the RWX
ones.
The previous approach assumed that ntdll wouldn't have been patched
before FEX was loaded, but that isn't necessarily the case thanks to
CEF. This takes the same approach used by xtajit which wine recently gained
support for wine. The overhead to this isn't ideal but most syscalls
aren't directly done through x86 code anyway and in the future FEX could
forward unpatched thunks to their ARM variants at JIT time.
This allows for running x64 applications under wine without having to run all
of wine under FEX. The JIT is invoked when ARM64EC code performs an indirect
branch to x64 code, and left whenever the x64 code calls into ARM64EC
code.
These are cut down versions of wine headers containing only what is necessary
for WOW. This shouldn't carry any license implications for FEX, as per the
LGPLv3 license:

The object code form of an Application may incorporate material from a header
file that is part of the Library. You may convey such object code under terms
of your choice, provided that, if the incorporated material is not limited to
numerical parameters, data structure layouts and accessors, or small macros,
inline functions and templates (ten or fewer lines in length), you do both of
the following:
a) Give prominent notice with each copy of the object code that the Library is
used in it and that the Library and its use are covered by this License.
b) Accompany the object code with a copy of the GNU GPL and this license
document.
