Instead of keeping the vlaue as a string array in the MetaLayer, convert
the value to its final type once.
Improves performance in some hotpaths that were doing config based
string conversion in a relatively high frequency.
Global rootfs doesn't support a named rootfs (only local supports that).
So when it is a global rootfs option just give the full path to the
config path.
Just needs some special handling to ensure the full path is retained for
global paths.
A reimplementation of #4067 that doesn't hardcode paths and routes the
global data path through FEXCore.
Using select initially was a mistake, it has issues with FD limits and
is less efficient due to fd_set. It's recommended to switch select using
over to polling, so do it.
alternative to #3638. this is theoretically better for side-by-side diffs. in
practice it may make other diffs worse since all the \'s change when part of the
macro change.

A feature of FEX's JIT is that when an unaligned atomic load/store
operation occurs, the instructions will be backpatched in to a barrier
plus a non-atomic memory instruction. This is the half-barrier technique
that still ensures correct visibility of loadstores in an unaligned
context.
The problem with this approach is that the dmb instructions are HEAVY,
because they effectively stop the world until all memory operations in
flight are visible. But it is a necessary evil since unaligned atomics
aren't a thing on ARM processors. FEAT_LSE only gives you unaligned
atomics inside of a 16-byte granularity, which doesn't match x86
behaviour of cacheline size (effectively always 64B).
This adds a new TSO option to disable the half-barrier on unaligned
atomic and instead only convert it to a regular loadstore instruction,
ommiting the half-barrier. This gives more insight in to how well a
CPU's LRCPC implementation is by not stalling on DMB instructions when
possible.
Originally implemented as a test to see if this makes Sonic Adventure 2
run full speed with TSO enabled (but all available TSO options disabled)
on NVIDIA Orin. Unfortunately this basically makes the code no longer
stall on dmb instructions and instead just showing how bad the LRCPC
implementation is, since the stalls show up on `ldapur` instructions
instead.
Tested Sonic Adventure 2 on X13s and it ran at 60FPS there without the
hack anyway.
It is scarcely used today, and like the x86 jit, it is a significant
maintainence burden complicating work on FEXCore and arm64 optimization. Remove
it, bringing us down to 2 backends.
1 down, 1 to go.
Some interpreter scaffolding remains for x87 fallbacks. That is not a problem
here.

Now that PF calculation is deferred, the cost of calculating PF correctly should
be tolerable. Remove the speed hack to skip PF. It's fundamentally broken, and
there are enough broken things in FEX as it is that we don't need to maintain
this one ;-)

Allows us to consume an array of strings and convert it to an mask of
enum values. This is a quality of life change that allows us to specify
a mask of options.
The first configuration option added to support this is to control the
vixl disassembler. Now by default the vixl disassembler doesn't
disassemble any blocks and needs to be enabled individually.
eg:
```
FEXLoader --disassemble=blocks <args>
FEXLoader --disassemble=dispatcher <args>
FEXLoader --disassemble=blocks,dispatcher <args>
```
Has the additional convenience option of just passing in numbers as
well.
```
FEXLoader --disassemble=2 <args>
FEXLoader --disassemble=1 <args>
FEXLoader --disassemble=3 <args>
```
Also of course all of this works through environment variables.
```
FEX_DISASSEMBLE=blocks FEXInterpreter <args>
FEX_DISASSEMBLE=dispatcher FEXInterpreter <args>
FEX_DISASSEMBLE=blocks,dispatcher FEXInterpreter <args>
```
While only used fairly sparingly now, this is likely to have some
additional configurations using this in the future. Since we already
have some configs that are basically using enums, but just by doing
string comparisons.
This was asked for by a developer, so I figured I would throw it
together quick.
FEXCore has no need to understand how to load these layers. Which
requires json parsing.
Move these to the frontend which is already doing the configuration
layer setup and initialization tasks anyway.
Means FEXCore itself no longer needs to link to tiny-json which can be
left to the frontend.
This is just confusing end users these days and no longer matters as a
debug option.
Remove from the GUI initially, maybe afterwards we will even remove
setting this at all and always auto-detect.
This lets all the path generation for the config to be in the frontend.
This then informs FEXCore where things should live.
This is for llvm-mingw. While paths aren't quite generated correctly,
this gets the code closer to compiling.
This unique_ptr would end up getting allocated through jemalloc then
fread through glibc.
Convert over to fextl::unique_ptr to ensure it gets allocated and
deallocated through jemalloc correctly.
When the textual field is changed, that order changes and there would be
a partial resort where the labels would misalign compared to the text
entries.
Fixes that.
Also in FEXLoader make sure to use `EraseSet` for these runtime options.
Fixes a bug where the config was being set to nothing, breaking the
ThunksDB configuration option.
Removes the "Load Default Options" menu option. This option was
confusing for new users and isn't necessary anymore.
Fixes the "Load Default" option so it actually populates the full
configuration layer in the face of partial configuration.
This is a /very/ common use case for new users that ran through
FEXRootFSFetcher, where the only configuration set is the RootFS.
The configuration would be visually confusing since the visual
representation for missing options wouldn't reflect their default
configuration state. "TSO Enabled" is an example where it would appear
disabled in the GUI, but it is default enabled.
Also fixes the issue that the default configuration window would just be
a 320x240 floating window in the center of the screen. This is due to
the window being a floating sub window in the dockspace by default, and
not docked.
Instead just remove the dockspace, it isn't serving us any purpose.
This means the child configuration window now maximizes to the window
size which is the desired behaviour from default.
Additionally only save the config file once. While the msg dialog is
open (2 seconds while it is open, or escape to make it go away
immediately) the program won't save the file again. This fixes an issue
that if you used the shortcut key to save the file, it would save the
file at the refresh rate of your screen. Which is 144hz on my setup, so
it spams my filesystem quite heavily.
This is a relatively invasive change since multiple things needed to
happen at once.
* Socket based logging is removed
* Logging has been replaced to only support stdout, stderr, and server
* Server is now default and replaces what FEXLogServer did
* Server logging now uses a pipe instead of a socket
* Can be faster than stderr and stdout since the application doesn't
need to wait on terminal output
* FEXMountDaemon has been removed
* Functionality has been merged in to FEXServer
* FEXServer is always executed on FEX initialization time
* Similar in behaviour to Wine's wineserver
* Can explicitly start this before using FEX for logging purposes
* Stays around until all instances of FEX exit
* Will stick around for a short amount of time in case of spurious
execution
* FEXServer will soon be extended to do more than logging and squashfs
mounting
* FEX rootfs scripts will need to be updated to support this path
* Just means rbinding the /tmp folder and forcing a FEXServer instance
to be alive
* Pressure-vessel works fine in this case since FEXServer will already
be running
* It already rbinds the host /tmp folder which is why this works
